New year, same me, I wanted to take a quick look at some tips for growing your small businesses online presence in 2023, most of them won’t cost the earth, just need a bit of time.

It’s a really tough world out there at the moment, a cost of living crisis etc, so we, as small business owners need to be on the nose with growing our online presence this year. Here at Aaron Dennis Creative, we don’t just build you something, we work with you to make it really something!

As a small business owner, it’s essential to have a strong online presence in order to reach customers and stay competitive. Here are some of our top tips for growing your online presence in 2023:

  1. Claim your Google My Business listing: If you haven’t already, make sure to claim your Google My Business listing. This allows you to manage your business’s information on Google Maps and in Google Search, and makes it easier for customers to find and contact you.
  2. Optimize your website for SEO: Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving your website’s ranking in search engine results. There are many factors that go into SEO, but some key things to focus on include using relevant keywords, having a fast-loading website, and having high-quality content.
  3. Utilise social media: Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter can be great ways to connect with customers and promote your business. Make sure to regularly post updates and engage with your followers to build a strong online presence.
  4. Consider paid advertising: While organic reach on social media can be limited, paid advertising allows you to reach a larger audience and target specific demographics. Platforms like Facebook and Google Ads offer a variety of options for small businesses.
  5. Don’t neglect email marketing: While it may not be as flashy as social media, email marketing can be an effective way to reach and engage with customers. Consider collecting email addresses at your physical location and sending out newsletters or promotional emails. Your website should also be asking for contact details too.

But the biggest of all the tips, be and remain consistent, whatever you do, try to keep to a schedule. Your customers want fresh new content when it comes to social media, so keep it coming, schedule in advance and you’ll be onto a winner.
